Madelyn Ritrosky, PhD:  Writer/Producer/Co-Novelist - With a PhD in media and culture, Madelyn's background includes historical research, scholarly writing, teaching about women in media, film crew and production work, covering film festivals for Entertainment Magazine, and co-writing the novel Stardust & Moonbeams.  She is director/producer/co-writer of Airwave Adventure, in post-production and the first in a trilogy of time-travel shorts.   

 

Terri Farley-Teruel:  Director/Co-Editor/Co-Producer - A summa cum laude graduate of UCLA Film School, Terri is an award-winning director/writer/producer of several short films.  Her feature directorial debut, Beautiful Dreamer, a World War II love story, garnered 13 Best Picture awards, including Best International Feature at the Australian Film Festival.  www.tftcreative.net/

 

Nancy Schreiber, ASC:  Cinematographer - In Feb 2017, Nancy became the first woman honored with the ASC President's Award for her long-time work in the film industry and television.  As the 4th woman to join the American Society of Cinematographers, she is a pioneer where there are few women even today behind the camera.  Her trailblazing career includes numerous awards (Sundance) and nominations (primetime Emmy).  www.nancyschreiber.com/ 

 

Kalynn Huffman Brower:  Producer - At USC School of Cinema-Television, her masters thesis film Among the Magic Mountains screened at festivals worldwide & MoMA in NYC.  In LA, she edited promos, commercials, and documentaries.  She is the author of the YA sci-fi novel Mission to Green Tara and the forthcoming sequel, Mission to Blue Grannus.  www.khbrower.com 

 

Jo Throckmorton:  Producer - An award-winning director, producer, and educator, Jo heads two production/media/graphic design companies in Bloomington, Blue Ace Media and Jo Throckmorton Filmworks.  In addition to his commercial work, he has produced and directed national and international film projects since 1988.  He is a member of the Director's Guild of America.  www.jothrockmortonfilmworks.com and www.blueacemedia.com

 

Dena Huisman, PhD:  Co-Novelist - Dena is an associate professor of communication studies at University of Wisconsin, La Crosse.  With her interests in gender studies, interpersonal communication, and empowering communication, she dove into co-writing the novel Stardust & Moonbeams with its focus on women's empowerment and equality.  http://www.uwlax.edu/profile/dhuisman/
