In 1940s Los Angeles, aspiring songwriter Rosella Smeltzer struggled to succeed in the male-dominated music industry.  She never quite made it, but thanks to her grandson, Sam Smeltzer, her compositions -- from demo records and sheet music -- will now be heard.  We are proud to feature 2 of her songs in the film.
