In 1940s Los Angeles, aspiring songwriter Rosella Smeltzer struggled to succeed in the male-dominated music industry.  She never quite made it, but thanks to her grandson, Sam Smeltzer, her compositions -- from demo records and sheet music -- will now be heard.  We are proud to feature 2 of her songs in the film.

We are sad to report than Sam Smeltzer passed away suddenly in January 2018.  Because of Sam, we can let the world know of Rosella.  Peace be with you, Sam.
